We trust in science. Studies show that breast implants with polyurethane foam-coating decrease the requency of capsule fibrosis (= hardening and deformation of the connective tissue in the breast). The polyurethane-coating also stabilizes the implants and prevents their torsion and translocation. This means a strong reduction in the probability of corrective surgery in the future for our patients. This results in an improved stable outcome and result over the long term.
The Brussels cocktail

The Brussels Cocktail is based on 3 principles:
- Placement of an implant in front of the muscle: this ensures more natural results, less pain and a quicker recovery
- Microthane/B-Lite implant: this light-weight implant weighs 30% less than a regular implant. Less weight means slower aging of the breast and less impact during your daily activities or when working out.
- Fat grafting: Through liposuction and lipofilling, a layer of fat is added between the implant and the skin. This contributes to a more natural appearance of the breast, enhanced upper pole fulness, and a nicer cleavage.

Recovery period :
A breast augmentation has a downtime of 1 to 2 weeks with easy wound care. Physical activity should be avoided and a supportive bra should be worn for 6 weeks.
